APPLY NOW >The Given Right is excited to announce that it is hiring a Social Media & Community Manager. This employee is in charge of managing and developing a brand’s online community. He/she acts as the brand’s spokesman and communicates with end-users within the community.
The Social Media Community Manager will work closely with the production and creative teams on the strategic planning of social media marketing campaigns. However, his/her main role is to communicate and provide support to the community members.
The Social Media Community Manager is the first point of contact within the social media community and strives to engage and provide support to members of the community. The Social Media Community Manager is required to monitor trends and topics mentioned by the community and has the ability to anticipate potential problems that may negatively affect brand reputation. Additionally, this manager will be responsible for communicating with and reporting quarterly digital performance with partners/clients of The Given Right.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for The Given Right's social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, & Instagram.
- Interact with community members and partners in a professional, personable, and timely manner to grow and keep the community alive
- Develop, execute, and manage an annual social media content strategy for The Given Right's entertainment, merch, and service divisions.
- Work with the marketing, creative, and production teams to create high quality, engaging, relevant, and timely content
- Manage the social media editorial calendar and ensure the content is published by the stipulated deadlines
- Foster and strengthen new relationships with key influencers within the community
- Deploy social listening tools to monitor positive/negative comments and topic trends, and strive to boost engagement and resolve any potential conflicts that may affect brand reputation
- Generate comprehensive reports on overall community sentiment and notable trends and provide meaningful feedback
- Keep up to date to the latest social media trends and emerging social media platforms in the industry
- Collect, construct, and communicate quarterly performance reporting for all partners of The Given Right
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field experience over a 5-year period
- Experience in community management
- Working and operating knowledge of social media platforms

The Media & Asset Production Specialist will be a be a key member of our media production team, responsible for developing and executing leading outdoor media assets to help continue the revenue and growth of the The Given Right footprint. This individual will be instrumental in capturing, concepting, and producing premium media assets. This individual will have a core focus of media production and processing, while fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting professional-grade videography on set and on location.
- Conducting professional-grade photography on set and on location.
- Willingness and ability to travel between 80-110 days a year for field production efforts.
- Working with production team and clients to coordinate field production events and video shoots.
- Managing and executing a developed field-production plan and shot list.
- Running, maintaining and properly storing camera equipment, audio equipment, lighting, props and other field production equipment.
Post-Production
- Post-production video logging, indexing, and processing of raw video footage.
- Ability to develop, refine and execute storyboards for digital short-form, social short-form, network-based episode formats, and even network-based season formats.
- Ability to edit raw footage to meet developed storyboards on an accelerated timeline, satisfying the need of short-form digital and social content assets.
- Integrating and working to employ video editing software, computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects to edited footage.
- Integrating and working to employ photo editing software to prepare professional-grade photography.
- Process and post-produce network-grade episodes of television, indexed field production footage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree – Preferred to be in Media Arts, OR 3+ years of professional experience in the field of media production.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, rapidly changing environments.
- Comfort with the travel, travel logistics and international travel.
Multitasking skills for working with many crew members at once. - Creative thinking with an excellent eye for detail.
- Regionally located in the south-central U.S.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with clients and members of the production team.
- Knowledge and experience with post-production software (Premier Pro or Final Cut) and editing techniques.
- Knowledge and experience with asset-processing software (Adobe Suite or comparable) and editing techniques.
- A passion for the outdoors and relative knowledge of the intricacies of hunting, fishing and shooting sports.
- Physical ability to move and hold camera equipment for long periods of time.
